Guest Room Print

I mentioned in my previous post that my dad sent a second print, one that we had chosen while we were back in California for Christmas. It's a black and white print for our guest room, and I'm so happy with it! The print is 20"x30", but it includes a mat that he had printed -- basically a fake mat so the picture is smaller.

We bought a black 20"x30" frame this weekend for the guest room, and a white 24"x36" frame for the nursery print with a mat we'll be cutting soon. Lucky for us, Aaron Brothers is having their "Buy One, Get One for a Penny" sale here in Tucson until this Saturday, so we were able to take advantage of that. =)

Here's how the guest room print turned out!
We'll actually be taking down that little white shelf and moving it to another wall after we rearrange the guest room a bit. Since we're anticipating more guests when the baby arrives (and for longer stretches of time than a weekend), we're going to make a few changes to make the room more comfortable and functional. So the print will hang on the wall by itself eventually. Here's a closer-up picture of the finished print:
Yosemite Valley -- El Capitan, Half Dome, and Bridalveil Falls.
I can't find the exact print on my dad's website at this point, but it's from the same place (and date) as this picture, just a little earlier or later, after the fog moved to cover some of the foreground and uncover Half Dome.

Hopefully I'll have an update really soon with the nursery print matted and complete!
