Busy Weekend

You know how some weekends, you don't feel like you got a weekend at all? That was us this weekend! We were pretty non-stop, and even though we got an ass-ton done, I still wish we could have rested a little. I'm definitely slowing down and my energy levels aren't what they used to be. It's right on cue, too -- today, I'm officially in my 3rd trimester!

Friday, as usual for this year, I worked from home while Todd took his last deferred vacation day from 2011 to work on the backyard. Then he surprised me and took me to see Disney's Beauty and the Beast in 3D! I've now seen it in the theaters when it first came out, on VHS, in IMAX, on DVD, the Broadway show (in San Francisco), on BluRay, and in 3D! =)
Taken through the window because it was damn cold out!
Saturday, we got an early start (for a weekend) to get a bunch of errands run before the 49er game. We were quite productive in a short amount of time, doing our usual errands, as well as picking up some materials to mat and frame the prints we have for the nursery, picking up Wicket's cremated remains, picking up some adorable baby clothes to gift to a family member, and getting some lumber for Todd to build something for the nursery that I hope to blog about in the near future. =) The rest of the day was finally starting to clear out the Christmas stuff while watching a lot of football. Oh, and we cut out the mats from the mat board we bought for our prints and framed them! They turned out really cute (but the pictures are on the other camera so I don't have them with me).

Sunday was productive, but not as efficient. The morning was pretty good, and we got all the Christmas decorations consolidated and put away before heading out for a few more errands -- most importantly because our glider had come in! Super comfortable, and the colors turned out great for the nursery!
Pouf from Target; turned on its side for a rolling/gliding motion! Saved us about $150.
We then had a couple of random things we needed to pick up at Home Depot and Target before heading home and doing laundry (and watching more football). By the time that was all over, I was grumpy and exhausted. I got into bed at about 9:15 and fell right asleep.

Did you have an efficiently productive weekend? Were we the last to get all of our Christmas decorations put away?

    1. Thanks, Roberta!! It's getting hard to keep baby-related stuff out of my blog because that's kind of been our life lately, so I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the baby aspects!
