Thankful Thursday

A quickie this week, I hope you don't mind! =)

Ritter Sport Chocolate
It's become a tradition of  mine to get a Ritter Sport chocolate bar at the airport whenever we fly somewhere. I used to get one almost every day I worked at REI for the first few weeks back when I had a summer job in college. Unhealthy, but delicious. Of the few flavors they have at the Tucson airport, my favorite lately has been the Milk Chocolate with Butter Biscuit. (The cornflake one was pretty good, too!)

Homecooked Meals
All of my aunts are amazing cooks, just like my mom and my grandmas were. I'm sooooo excited about what delicious recipes (new and old) my two aunts down in LA have planned, as well as the shabu-shabu dinner my other aunt in the Bay Area will be serving us next week!! I'm certainly no cook, so I'm super-thankful for their abilities for my anxiously awaiting tastebuds!

First CA Christmas with Todd
I think I've said this before, but I'm very excited to finally share with Todd what our typical Christmas is like with my family! He's seen/heard first-hand how loud and obnoxious we get when we all collect, but I have so many fond memories of Christmas with my dad's side of the family, from the drive to/from LA with my dad, to the loud and crazy family (who is known to get kicked out of restaurants), it's definitely... an experience. =) And hopefully Todd won't feel too sad about his first Christmas away from ND.

Happy Holidays, everyone!! I hope you all have a wonderful season!!
